Music Space Studios is is a rehearsal studio in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The San Fernando Valley has many rehearsal spaces and is famous for housing many up-and-coming bands and artists.

The music hot-spot of Los Angeles has created fierce competition with rehearsal spaces all around the Valley. Music Space Studios would get high demand, but being a small business could get overwhelming when keeping track with their old booking system.

Old system:
-Potential customer would call owner, Gary, and ask for availability over the phone
-Gary, while on the phone, would look at his own calendar, while listing dates and times for the potential customer to memorize.
-If customer was with a band, they would memorize those dates and times so they can hang up and check in with the other bandmates.

This system of playing phone tag by word of mouth would create lots of confusion and double-bookings, resulting in less ability to fill rooms. My job was to improve the user's experience of booking studio time, as well as renovate Music Space Studios' website.
